Breaking forever my quill tonight

The mind sees it all, as clear as sky
But the heart lives under shadows of doubt,
The person I want the most in life
Is the person I am best without.

All meteors i see; a beautiful shower
Until they plummet down on earth
The impact jolts till the core
And the craters for ever, they birth.

I should’ve loved you likewise
Adored you from distance away
But destiny lurched my ground beneath
And I came into your way.

I am biting my hand which holds a rope
I’m aware of scratches I’ll get
The weight is heavy coz hefting the hope
’tis better to wait than regret.


My inkpot boils
The feather feels heavy
Bleeding edge of my letters
shows my fight
I’m done with the writing
You’re never coming back
So, I am breaking forever
My quill tonight.
